User Guide
A quick walkthrough for uploading recordings, exporting subtitles, translating SRT files, and using the Windows muxer.
Create an account and open the workspace
Click Sign In or Create Account from the header. After email verification or Google sign-in, you land in the workspace where uploads, jobs, credits, and account tools stay in one place.
Upload audio or video
From the workspace, click Upload. Drag in a recording or browse for one from your device. Choose the target language and subtitle style, then start the upload.
- Common formats include MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI, WMV, MPEG, and 3GP.
- Use Talking Head for calmer captions, or Fast Social for tighter subtitle pacing.
Review the completed job
When a job finishes, open it from the workspace list. You can review the transcript, the translated text, and download subtitle files directly from the detail page.
- Download SRT exports the subtitle file.
- Open Muxer takes you to the Windows desktop app download if you want subtitles embedded into a video.
Translate an existing SRT file
Use the Translate SRT tool from the workspace if you already have subtitle files. Upload the .srt, choose the source and target language, and export a translated subtitle file while keeping the original timing structure.
Use the Windows muxer
The TranscriBridge Muxer desktop app combines a video file with an .srt subtitle file.
- MKV output keeps subtitles as a soft subtitle track.
- MP4 output burns subtitles into the video.
- On first run, use the app’s top download button to install ffmpeg.
Manage credits and account settings
Open Account from the header to review remaining minutes, SRT character balances, notifications, email changes, and password updates. Paid credits never expire. Free monthly credits reset each month.
